Choosing the right forklift today involves more than simply comparing engine types. Operations managers overseeing logistics centers, warehouses or production facilities evaluate multiple factors: equipment flexibility on site, operating costs, fast stock availability, and predictable long-term maintenance.
LPG forklifts offer a balanced solution in these scenarios. They operate efficiently in mixed spaces, combining indoor material handling in ventilated warehouses with daily work on outdoor concrete platforms, regardless of weather conditions.
Many facilities are not electrically prepared to simultaneously charge a full fleet of electric forklifts. Expanding the electrical infrastructure requires significant costs and construction that are often hard to justify. In contrast, LPG fueling remains simple, direct, and easily organized onsite. The gas cylinder is replaced quickly, allowing operators to resume work within minutes and maintain constant productivity.
LPG forklifts provide a continuous work cycle. They do not require strict charging schedules, battery cooling times, or shift breaks for recharging. For logistics flows with high variability during the day, this flexibility provides a clear advantage over electric alternatives.
Compared to traditional diesel, visible exhaust fumes are significantly reduced, airborne particles decrease substantially, and noise levels remain acceptable even in ventilated halls or partially open areas.

Companies using LPG forklifts come from various sectors but share one common factor: the need for continuous flexibility in handling goods across partially enclosed or mixed environments.
In FMCG distribution centers, LPG forklifts ensure daily pallet handling for loading and unloading trucks. Vehicles arrive continuously, and equipment must operate on ramps, outdoors, and in order preparation zones, sometimes across two or three shifts daily.
In building materials warehouses, handling pallets of bricks, cement, timber, or panels involves variable loads and frequent movement between outdoor yards and indoor sorting halls. LPG forklifts are valued here for their robustness and rapid refueling.
In production, internal flows of raw materials, semi-finished, and finished products require equipment that easily transitions between production areas, buffer warehouses, and loading platforms. Continuous movement between production, packaging, and shipping makes downtime unacceptable.
On temporary job sites or seasonal logistics platforms without dedicated electrical infrastructure, LPG forklifts remain the viable solution for autonomy and unrestricted mobility.
In the long term, every equipment investment must be analyzed not only for purchase price but for total operating and maintenance costs. LPG forklifts are appreciated for:
UTEC offers both new and verified used LPG forklifts:
New forklifts: with full warranty, recommended for daily intensive use and permanent material flows.
Verified used forklifts: carefully selected, technically inspected, delivered with limited warranty based on the degree of reconditioning. A more accessible initial investment option.
In-stock delivery allows companies to quickly cover urgent needs in production or logistics.
A forklift investment is supported by fast service, spare parts availability, and prompt field interventions.
New models are covered by full manufacturer warranty. For used models, warranty depends on the level of reconditioning before delivery.
Service interventions are performed by certified technicians. Spare parts are quickly available from in-house stock or through UTEC’s authorized supplier network.
For predictable maintenance, UTEC offers scheduled preventive servicing and ongoing technical consultancy.
